My Story

Hi! I'm Michelle, a registered dietitian nutritionist. I am a family member to a person living with ARFID, also known as avoidant restrictive food intake disorder or sometimes called extreme selective eating. The difficulties my family member faced led me to become an RDN and focus my powers for change on those needing support with eating disorders. I have experience working with adolescents to older adults. My focus with my practice it to help individuals (13+) break the chains of ARFID through a collaborative approach to healing. We work through a proven 3 step process to begin the food expansion process. My goal is to give you the tools, so you can make life long changes to live more freely with food.

The Process

The process is unique to each individual, so our initial session is all about you. Getting to know you, your history, and your current situation in regards to food. Family members and loved ones are encouraged to be an active part of your journey but my ultimate focus is you and providing you with resources to help you break the chains of food avoidance for good. We dive into the mind set blocks you may be experiencing as well as any physical barriers you may experience when facing a challenging food situation. When you are ready to take the first step to food peace, I am here to partner with you.
